SPECIAL PROGRAM ANTOINETTE BOSCO, Author to speak at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH On “Forgiveness”on Sunday, March 14 at 6:00 PM Toni is a friend of many years and a remarkable person. She is the author of Radical Forgiveness, a book that speaks about some of the pains of her own life (a very difficult marriage that ended in divorce, the suicide of a son, the murder of a son and daughter-in-law). The book also recounts her journey to radical forgiveness and inner peace. She writes: “Few people, thank God, have to deal with forgiving someone who murdered a loved one, or a beloved child who is defeated in life and ends his or her pain by killing themselves. But all of us must deal on a regular basis with thoughts about people we feel have hurt us, abandoned us, spoken badly about us, hurt our feelings, damaged our reputations, manipulated, provoked, or just plain annoyed us. They can be our parents, relatives, friends, bosses, employees, or strangers.” My friends, Toni’s talk is one that is for each and every one of us. Please mark your calendars. Perhaps what you hear will help you move toward that inner peace that for too long has eluded you. Father Tim Stations of the Cross Each Friday during Lent we will have Stations of the Cross at 7:00 p.m. at the Church. During the six weeks of lent different Stations will be recited. Consider making this a family activity this Lent. NOTE: On March 19, there will be Teen Stations of the Cross from 7:00 – 8 p.m. for students in Grade 9 – all are welcome to attend on this evening. Lenten Penance Service There will be a Lenten Penance Service on Sunday, March 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the Church. Several priests will be available to hear confessions. This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the Sacrament of Reconciliation prior to Easter.
